How To Make a Small Wedding Look Great in a Big Venue Space
When considering wedding venues in Los Angeles with an indoor/outdoor option for a smaller wedding, don’t rule out a larger venue. For instance, our garden is lovely for an intimate outdoor ceremony, yet it is paired with the largest ballroom in our building. Have no fear! There are so many creative ways to design a space in favor of a small wedding. One of our favorite ways to do this is with long tables and a center dance area.
This reception set up was for 104 and had a beautiful custom designed rectangular dance floor, the band on stage and room for at least another 20 guests if you were to extend the tables further into the room.

This reception set up was for 57 people! The couple made their grand entrance from the stage through a custom-built elevator and the dance floor was closer to the stage. It was a great way to design the space for such a warm and intimate wedding reception.

Other ideas for designing with a long table:
Add faux taper candles to your long tables, they look real!!
If not using linens, use our vintage wood chairs for a dark wood look (see above)
Select vendors from your venue’s preferred list and/or use event pros that your planner knows well
