At The Ebell: A Wedding with Attitude
As a wedding planner who produces several gorgeous weddings a year here, it was hard for Renee Dalo of Moxie Bright Events to pick just one from 2023 when we asked for her favorite. However, when pressed, there was one that stood out. "Emalee and Matt's May wedding was special for so many reasons," Renee says.
"They were a wonderful couple with fun-loving families and friends. We chose a beautiful design -- a fresh take on the popular Bridgerton theme. And there were so many details including a live painter, cigar rollers, Hollywood Photo Booth, late-night In 'N' Out Truck, an after-party with DJ Will Gill and Cappuccino Man. And to leave them walking on clouds, or rather, bubbles, we made sure the bubble send off was epic with four bubble machines and every guest blowing bubbles themselves!”
Some of our favorite details were the many ways in which the Ebell became the perfect backdrop for he photographer to capture the couple’s memorable kisses. The attitude group shot of the wedding party was just so fun. And the surprising and very fresh use of anemones in the bouquet. It was a wedding that reflected the personality of both our venue and Emalee and Matt and another reason we love working with Moxie Bright Events.
